T'ai chi ch'uan is an "inner style" martial art,
based on the principles of relaxation and inner harmony. It
was introduced to Amercia by Cheng Man Ching in the early
1970's from where it spread rapidly.
Students begin by learning the yang style short form, which
consists of a series of 6o consecutive movements that help
them experience the principles of relaxation, grounding, body
coordination and alignment.
